((ooc: Takes place the morning after Raging Tempest. I figured that Chel and Frollo probably would have stayed the night in the cave, but if you were in that thread and don't want your character involved then that's fine, obviously. Open to all, but mostly those that were in that thread! ))
The sound of someone snoring heavily in her ear, mixed with a damp, cold chill entering through the mouth of the cave had managed to wake Chel early the next morning, confused and sore from a night spent along the hard, cool rock beneath her. She instantly regretted opening her eyes the moment she did it, reaching a hand up to cover her eyes as the bright sunlight flashed into them.
How early was it in the morning? Chel couldn't remember how or when exactly she'd fallen asleep. She'd only turning remembered the heavy pounding of rain above, and her struggle to find something warm to cover her barely clothed figure. Somehow, she supposed that sleep had either overtaken her, or she'd finally found something warm, because the cold didn't even bother her now. Shifting her gaze to her shoulder, the Native woman was surprised to see a thick, black blanket covering it. That was odd...
Suddenly, she became very aware of the sound next to her, slowly turning to face a sleeping Claude Frollo lying beside her, his arm draped over her shoulder and his robe with it. The woman instantly recoiled, eyes widening as a sharp shout flew from her lips.
The Judge's eyes flashed open, only to shut tightly again at the sight of a half-naked foreign woman screaming and beating him over the head with a stick she'd found. "What in God's name are you doing?! Are you mad, you crazy heathen?!?!" The judge shouted, unaware of any others who might have been in the cave.
