Since I'm still awaiting approval, I figured I might as well start up an art thread while I wait.
Warning: This doodle dump contains a lot of dragons. Anyone who knows me at least a little ought to know that I do love drawing dragons. That is all.
Let's start off with a doodle that's somewhat relevant to the roleplay, or at least to the only character I've claimed at the moment.
Even though it's been a while since I've watched the series, I still find him completely adorable.
And since I haven't been here long at all and so don't have much roleplay-relevant art at the moment, shall I inundate you with completely irrelevant but hopefully still neat doodles that I did over the course of this week?
A character from my own universe, a cat named Terra, conversing with Grune from Tales of Legendia. They're good friends in my roleplay with Ray and often have picnics on or under the Grabbing Tree, which often end up with several other characters joining in whether they like it or not. They're silly buddies, I guess you could say.
And just for the sake of it, Ray's dragon, Sting, brofisting mine, whom I'm probably going to call Lumine, who is a good friend of Terra's and takes all of her whimsical ideas quite seriously. Only those two goofballs would succeed in covering an entire tree in scarves for the winter just because it seemed to be "balding."
Only those two.
Last Friday, I think Ray was having to deal with some drama on one of the sites she goes to, and she wanted me to do something to get her mind off of it, but I didn't know exactly what. Then she suggested that I draw Sting, so I was all like "okay." I paired it up with relaxing music and ended up with quite a lot of adorable doodles. This cute one of him and a tiny dragon was just one of the results.
Here we have another doodle of that same tiny dragon and one of Sting being completely heroic and breathing poison breath whilst dodging the whip-like tail of one of Ray's other characters, Scorch. I really meant it when I said this sketchbook was tiny, didn't I? I like it, though. It's good for doodles and thumbnail sketches. :3
And now for something that I had uploaded before, with 100% more full color!
A Beyond pairing picture that was supposed to be a birthday present for Ray, but I completely forgot about it, so when I finally finished it, it was more like an unbirthday present. Sorry about the poor lighting here, but my camera was a pain to work with, it's a larger piece, and I'm currently not in possession of this piece anyway, so I can't take a better photo of it immediately. This was probably among the first pictures where I started giving Sting a Sync-esque hairstyle as opposed to the style Ray had given him when she first designed him. I like how my fanarts ended up influencing his real design in a way - lengthening his snout, changing up the hair, and whatnot. (P.S. Ray, you should continue writing it. I want to know what happens in detail!)
I guess that's it for now.
