I'd prefer if Chase's app was approved before hers is but it's your call ^^
Quote: It gave me life. Maybe now I can give it back.
Name: Yue
Alias: Princess Yue, La, the Moon Spirit.
Age: Now that she isn't the moon anymore she's 16
Film/Show/Game: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Species: Human, previously a spirit.
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 119
Basic Appearance: Lightly tanned skin, large Ice blue eyes, and snow-white hair half-braided, half-pulled into an up-do.
Picture:
Personality: Yue is compassionate, sweet and caring. She has a deep sense of loyalty and duty to her tribe. She offers hope to others and was courageous enough to sacrifice her own life to save the Moon Spirit and the Water Tribe. Along with her compassion, however, Yue also hid a great deal of guilt over being openly affectionate towards Sokka while engaged to Hahn. She is highly spiritual, referencing the Moon and Ocean Spirits several times; this is probably due to her connection with Tui. It is also hinted that she has a serious side, when she glares at Momo when he tries to catch a sacred koi in the Spirit Oasis.
Allies: Sokka, Katara, Aang, her tribe
Enemies: Admiral Zhao
Family: Cheif Arnook (father)
Alliances: Amaterasu's group
Hitsory: When Princess Yue was born, she was still and lifeless. Almost as if she were asleep. The healers told her parents she wouldn't make it. Here father placed her in the spirit oasis, a highy spiritual part of the Northern Tribe. Her hair turned white and she instantly awoke.
From then on, life was far from easy for Yue. Sure she was a princess. But at a young age she lost her mother, and not long after she was forced into an aranged marriage with the worst guy. Fast forward to when she turned 16 and came into contact with the gang. It was only a few short months before her marriage to Hahn took place, and she soon found herself spending time with Sokka, slowly but surely she was falling for him. Still, she felt an overwhelming sense of guilt because of it. Even when they were just friends, she found it hard and confusing and cut all ties with him (until he was assigned to protect her). Truth be told she didn't want to be just friends. She was in love with him. However, the Firenation cut that short. They launched a massive attack on her people. What's worse was Admiral Zhao had brutally murdered the moon spirit. Knowing there was no other way out, Yue sacrificed herself, despite Sokka's protests. After saying her final goodbyes to him, faded away. She kept her promise. She was always with him. Watching over him, watching him find new love, and watching him help save the world with the Avatar. Only when the situation called for it did she ever make her presence known. And never in front of Sokka for fear that he'd keep holding onto her.
One day, she felt herself growing faint. She closed her eyes, near passing out, and woke up in some stange world. She was surprised to be alive once again. Instead of the graceful spirit she had been she was now human again. She was happy, but she was also a bit saddened, because that meant her world was moonless. However after further inspection she began to wonder if her world even exsisted anymore.
Sample Post:
Her blue eyes opened slowly. A sharp pain shooting through her head. Where was she? She got up off the ground, wobbling a bit as it had been quite awhile since she had walked.
"Hello?" She asked. Silence. "Can anybody tell me what's going on?" She asked once more.
She didn't understand. She was supposed to be a spirit. She was spposed to be the moon. A look into the sky told her that the moon was still perfectly intact.
How...How is that possible?
If she was here, the moon should have been gone. Unless...she wasn't in her own world. It seemed to be the only thing that made sense as unbelevable as it seemed. That meant somewhere back in her own universe, things were probably thrown into chaos.
But, what if she wasn't the only one who was sent here? What if...what if Sokka was sent here?
That alone brought a smile to the Princess' face. If there was even the slightest chance that he was here, she had to find him. More importantly she had to find her people, and make sure they were okay.
Perhaps the Avatar will know what's going on... She thought.
With those thoughts in mind, she ventured forward. A set goal in mind. Find the Avatar, Find Sokka, and get back home.
Other: Even though it's never been proven or disproven, I like to think she was/is a waterbender. She bended (in spirit form) in the episode The Awakening, and she has the moons life in her. I like to think she is a bender, but didn't use it (She's very traditional, and women bending was forbidden there). Even if she is, do to lack of practice she wouldn't be very great at it anyways XP
