Fluttershy turned to follow the others. "Are you alright?" she asked Ion. She hoped he hadn't gotten too badly hurt. He seemed like a nice boy and he had been willing to protect those who wanted to help. "I do hope that he didn't hurt you too badly."

Dongwa let out a long sigh before jumping out of Maka's arms. "All right, if you say so. I still think you're too nice sometimes, you know that Ammy?" Dongwa asked.
"What did she say?" Ion and Maka asked at the same time. They both felt out of the loop needing a kitten to translate for them. Though, admittedly, it reminded Ion of the times that his friends and he had needed Mieu to translate for them. It made Ion feel just a bit more at home, what with a familiar experience happening and all.
"Amaterasu says that she understands we don't trust him, but we're going to let him find himself for the moment. I just hope that's not for too long." Dongwa explained, though the last part was spoken softly. The kitten clearly didn't trust the man and neither did Maka. Ion appeared on the fence about the matter, but was leaning more toward not trusting him despite his trusting nature. Who could blame him? The man had tried to choke him to death.
At Fluttershy's question, Ion nodded just a little in response. "I'll be okay. I'm just a little tired, that's all." Ion replied. Attempting to use a fonic arte along with how tired he was already from recovering from his death wasn't a good combination for the green-haired boy. His friends from Auldrant surely wouldn't have liked hearing that he had even attempted an arte in his condition.

"Oh...good." she said nodding with a smile. She turned her gaze back to the man that had almost tried to kill them. Could they really trust him? Something in her heart wanted to believe that there was good in him but...maybe it was when he tried to send half the roof at her that made her doubt that they really could. "....Do you think its safe?"

"Honestly, I'm not sure." Ion replied at last. Since the conversation seemed to have been dropped for the most part, and since the man was no longer trying to kill them, Ion felt safe enough to sit down at long last. He needed the chance to rest, after all. It had been a long and very confusing day for the green-haired boy. Subconsciously, Ion rubbed his neck where it had been grasped by that strange, invisible force. Never again did he want to come that close to dying. Not without someone to protect him from it.
"I don't believe you told me your name." he said after a moment. It was true, Ion had come in long after the group had introduced themselves. He had missed Fluttershy's introduction entirely.

The small pegasus gave a tiny smile. "Fluttershy." she replied. "My name is Fluttershy, i have always seemed to forget to introduce myself lately." floating for a minute in the air she lowered herself down next to the boy. "....It wasn't exactly the way i wanted to introduce myself." glacning around at the scene, it certainly had been an exciting day

"Fluttershy. I like that name. It suits you." Ion said with a smile. It honestly felt like the first time that he really could smile since arriving in the world. The last time he had smiled... Ion vaguely recalled having a smile on his face as he faded away in his old world. "Believe me, this isn't exactly how I imagined my first meeting with people of this place would go." he told her. Ion hadn't really been sure of what to expect. "Finding myself here after what happened to me before now was strange enough." Ion admitted.

"Thanks..." Fluttershy said with a smile. The boy's next words surprised her. "Did you somehow wind up here too?" she asked. It seemed that everyone here had one thing in common, they weren't supposed to be here. So then why were they here? It made no sense

"Yes... I don't even really know how I got here." Ion replied as his gaze went forward. It was as if he was trying to look for something that he couldn't see anymore. In a sense, he was. He thought that, if he looked up right then he would still be able to see Anise and the others. A very slight laugh escaped him after a moment as he closed his eyes. How foolish a thought. "I don't remember the exact details, but..." he stopped himself. How could he best go about the explanation without revealing that he had died? Ion thought of an answer after just a moment. "I was telling my dearest friend, Anise, that everything would be okay... that she was forgiven for what she had done... and all I remember after that was hearing her call my name. ...And darkness." Ion explained at last. It hit him at last just how much he missed Anise. He had danced around the exact wording of his death, but thinking about his dearest friend saddened him noticeably.
"Perhaps it was the will of Yulia that I was brought here after that. Even if that is the case, I just don't understand it. What purpose could I serve here when I couldn't even find a peaceful solution to what just happened?" Ion asked.

Fluttershy nodded to agree. She could hardly remember what had happened to her when she was sent here. "It doesn't make much sense to me either, i just remember talking to my friends when suddenly i ended up here...I am not sure what to make of it yet...."
her eyes softened. "At least there's someone like Ami, is here..."
